Why CocoVayé Uses Tallow in Its Skincare

Tallow gives CocoVayé creams their rich, whipped texture. We use it as part of a moisturizing formula, together with oils and other ingredients that vary by product.

What is tallow?

Tallow is rendered animal fat. CocoVayé uses grass-fed beef tallow in its creams.

The whole formula matters

Our products are cosmetic moisturizers. We do not present tallow as a cure for acne or eczema, or assume that every formula will suit every skin type. Read the exact ingredient list and choose a product that fits your preferences.

Scented and fragrance-free choices

The Natural moisturizer contains tallow, MCT oil and vitamin E without added fragrance. The scented day creams have different ingredients, including Parfum in The Original. Patch test before first use and stop if a product irritates your skin.

Using your cream

Warm a small amount between your fingertips and massage it into clean, slightly damp skin. Follow the instructions on your selected product page; a little goes a long way.
